DESCRIPTION:Stuart Waldman\, President & CEO of the Valley Industry & Commerce Association will be next week's special guest for Touch Base Tuesday at Noon. He'll be discussing the latest on the redistricting process and how federal\, state and local districts could change based on recent data from the 2020 National Census. \n\n \n\nPrior to joining VICA in 2008\, Waldman spent 11 years working for the California State Assembly representing the San Fernando Valley. Seven of those years were spent as a Chief of Staff to two members of the Assembly\, including Assembly Speaker Bob Hertzberg.\n\n \n\nWaldman serves on several boards\, including the LA28 Olympic Committee\, the CSUN Foundation\, the Granada Hills Charter High School Foundation\, and the LA100 Advisory Group for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Waldman is an Army Veteran\, having served as a Cavalry Scout with the First Infantry Division. He is a graduate of California State University Northridge\, and holds a law degree from Loyola Law School.\n\n \n\nTBT is a casual opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to the Chamber community!
